Dan Jury Solo "Notebook Love Affair" Debut album, Released!

Following the May release of "Rodriguez", Tahina records now gives you its second offering, Dan Jury.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Dan Jury has made Tokyo his home for the last 12 years.
Over that period of time he’s been a radio DJ, runs his own label and is the main songwriter and vocalist for several bands, including the Tokyo indie rock band Squadcar and the electro rock band The Okay Idea.
This is Dan’s first solo release, he has teamed up with longtime collaborator “Super Samir” to come up with his most personal offering yet: tracks that up to now have been hiding in his notebook.
Dan is a storyteller. While he tries to stay upbeat and catchy with his music, he aspires to capture both the hopefulness and tragedy of the human heart. Sometimes inspiring and sometimes heartbreaking, his words and music will leave you feeling touched.

5/1/2009 Rodriguez Debut Album Released!

Rodriguez is a collaboration project between me and ex- The Chronicles vocalist, Hideyuki Okamoto.
After 2 years of labouring, our 9 song debut album will be released in Japan. The music is quite different from anything we've done before, using folk music as a starting point and bringing in influences of film music, country and electro.
Unfortunately, the CD will only be available in Japanese music stores.
